Kenya’s fashion industry is a dynamic enterprise as it constantly evolves in different aspects including creativity and global trends. It has great potential for creating jobs and economic opportunities. Additionally, we are a mix of diverse cultures and backgrounds, which greatly affects our sense of style – fashion entrepreneurs are well aware of this and have had to throw in a mix of various styles to cater for each taste.

This month on our entrepreneurs’ stories, we got to meet @sheilaruhiu who’s the founder of @lacs_valencia a clothing store bringing in pieces from Spain and Morocco. Her style is Modern, Bold and Elegant which we love – obviously! She has been able to carefully select pieces which are fit for her target audience – the woman who is stylish, bold and conservative at the same time.

She also loves to support and partner with young talent in her craft, that is: models, photographers, shoot directors, designers and store owners.
